Chronic Sinus infections? Anyone?

I have a pretty constant sinus headach. So annoying. My mom had an infection for YEARS. It was the airconditioning system at her work. It was full of mold and other bacteria that just kept reinfecting her. So nasty. It wasn't until she was moved to the new section of the school she worked at that it got better.

They did tons of cleaning out and really watched that the fluid around her brain wan't infected.

I need to see my allergist and ENT. I've had a sinus headache for weeks and while there is no drainage or congestion I'm sure something is 'wrong.'

DD, 9 at the time, had chronic sinus infections. Months of antibiotics gave her no relief. She ended up going to ENT and having 2 sinus surgeries, which she handled like a real trooper. I was the one crying after taking her back to the OR and watched her be put under general anesthesia . Needless to say, no more sinus infections since!!!!!!

I did have surgery to correct the septum that was blocking the sinus. Until then I was at the doctor's every month getting antibiotic. It took about a year, but I got fewer infections after the surgery. Then when the doctor put me on astelin- a nasally administered decongestant, I have been free for a year of infection, knock on wood.

I didn't find the surgery all that painful. I have a fear of suffocation, so having my nose blocked up was traumatic, and the doctor removed the packing sooner than normal because of it. The worst part was the removal of the packing, take a strong painkiller before it.

After years of miserable chronic sinus infections (several a year, sometimes lasting for two months at a time) and sinus headaches, I finally agreed to the sinus surgery. The bones in my face didn't allow for proper drainage. The surgery was unpleasant and the aftercare was unpleasant but I am SOOOOOOOO glad I did it. No sinus infections since!!! Almost no sinus headaches either!!!! One of the best decisions I ever made.

I had a sinus infection and antibiotics too it away. I then through stress kept getting these and after a couple of years the antibiotics stopped working. I had a real been in my bonnet. At one time the headaches were so bad it felt like electricty was being pumped through my head and I could almost hear a zinging sound. Thank the lord I found sinusoothe nose spray. it relieved the pain and headaches caused by the sinus infection and after one bottle of this I was feeling ten times better and even had more energy. haven't had nother infection in years and use this spray couple of times a week just to keep my sinuses clear. Especially these days with COVID. Better to be safe than sorry and I feel much safer using this now.
