Does anyone know how busy it gets? Is it like Disney? We might go for a day or two. Would love to here your ideas on what not to miss!!:jester: :jester:

It gets pretty busy at the parks during Christmas week, WDW or not. Universal doesn't get the huge crowds WDW does, but it is generally pretty packed. I went last year the weekend before New Year's and it was wall to wall people from 11 am to around 6 or 7 pm. Then the crowds started to die down.

We were in US/IOA last Christmas, and yes,it's crowded, but not like Disney. We enjoyed it so much we leave this Thurday for another Christmas week there!!

We just come back from RPR......they have the resort beautifully decorated for Christmas the tree is amazing. On Christmas Eve and Christmas day they have special holiday menus. New Years eve there is a special party at the resort (pay extra for). There is also a special holiday luau.

That is just a start...then there are all the holiday things at City Walk...ice skating, santa!

Enjoy!

You can even take a horse-drawn carriage ride around CityWalk lagoon. (forgot to ask cost, but was told it's approx. 20 min. ride)
There's a mini-carousel & a little train ride for wee ones for $2 each.
And just checking out all the Christmas decorations is neat too.
You'll have a great time there.

What I wouldn't miss.... Dueling Dragons & Hulk at night!
Jim
