Christmas week, people who love it

I think my son gets out about Dec 15th for break so when I want to stop taking him out of school we'd do the week leading up to Christmas or first week of June I think.

Wow! So much excellent advice here. To add my 2 cents worth, definitely take advantage of the late night hours during the holidays and once you've enjoyed the fireworks early on in your visit, on later visits, go for the headliners during the fireworks, the lines may be much shorter. One of our family's cherished WDW moments was coming up to the big drop on Splash Mountain just as the fireworks big finale went off. What a view! We've tried but have never managed to duplicate that same feat of timing.
