We’ve been twice during Christmas week. MK will be open daily at 7am. The other parks varied- I think their official opening times were 8am unless it was EMH. The first Christmas week trip- the hours changed daily- some that were scheduled to open at 8am were changed a day or two before to 7am- but this was a while back- I’d still check the hours daily for the next day... .that first hour can be crucial.
Also, we found that sometimes the parks would open 10- 15 minutes early, depending on the crowd. They would let us inside the parks earlier than normal- not the lands- but to the main hub areas and ready to go to the lands.
I’d highly advise being there for park opening daily- that will be the only time you can ride with very little to zero wait- after a couple of hours- it becomes chaos.
Both trips- the parade was at noon and 3pm. We usually did the 3pm parade because of lunch. By then, you will be ready to sit and rest a bit- you’ll have to stake out a place to get front row. Or, if you are there with no lunch plans, stake out a place for the noon parade and send someone to get lunch and bring it to you.
Have a magical trip- yes, it’s crowded- but it’s also such a magical week to be there!
