Christmas Week Dining?

SOLO TRIP TIME!

Crossing it off the bucket list and finally going "home for the holidays" December 20th-25th. I've never been at such a high traffic time, but I am looking forward to the entire holiday experience. It's been a dream to wake up in WDW on christmas morning!

SO the question remains.. What meals should I hit while I'm there?? I will be on the TS plan (paying for xmas breakfast OOP). I only have two must-do's lined up. Recommendations highly needed!

Looking for the greatest christmas atmospheres and holiday menu's!

-Flexible day, probably my only commitment is MK EMH from 10pm to midnight (I will note that I do have PH in my package #freediningforthewin)

-Most likely hitting AK.

Dec 23rd

-Probably doing 4 parks in one day here... I have done it before, had a successful shot at it! We do 2 major attractions & 1 snack. Might skip out on a meal this day.

If we do not do 4 parks in one day, probably EP & then HS for EMH.

Well, for one, you should probably start booking ASAP. As the most crowded time of the year, it's going to be tough getting most of your ADRs. Also keep in mind that you're visiting during free dining, which will make it even more difficult to secure a reservation. With that in mind, be flexible with your dates. Book your ADRs and anything comparable, then keep checking for dropped ressies.

It's hard to make recommendations without knowing what you do and don't like.

If you can get this, all the power to you. In fact - go and try and book this NOW. NOW. No, don't X-out, but go book it.

I'd recommend Yak & Yeti or Boma. We're trying Yak & Yeti for the first time. It's a sit-down restaurant within Animal Kingdom. Boma is a buffet found in AK Lodge. It'd be a nice opportunity to see the resort with its holiday decorations.

This... isn't the best idea. It won't be as crowded as the actual WEEK of Christmas, but it may be too crowded to actually get anything done. You're really spreading yourself thin. Maybe you should do EPCOT & DHS on this day? Do EPCOT early and eat around the world, then head to DHS for the evening and enjoy Fantasmic!

It's probably not available, but I'd try and get Be Our Guest. Don't eat at AK again, try something at or neat MK.
