Hi all,
We will be traveling to WDW on 12/24-12/29. Staying at Coronado Springs.
2 kids ages 8 and 10. We have been to WDW 5 times prior to this, just never during these times. Has anybody ever been during the Holidays and what can I expect. I have all my ADR's since we are on the DxDP. We dont want to see or do everything in every park. My girls are no longer wanting to do a few of the ones the call "baby rides". But my fear is that the ones they do want to do are the most popular. Any advice is welcomed.

Well, I can tell you that it is the busiest week of the year. My advice is to plan the route around the park and arrive at the park either very early and start with fastpasses. But, you also don't want to miss all the lights and decorations at night too. The castle is a must see at night!
Are you going to MVMCP?

No we are not doing the MVMCP. The days we are there doing rope drop and then back in the evening for EMH at all parks. We are planning on utilizing fast passes. When you were there, what where wait times without the fastpass?

Thanks for any info that may help us.

I've only been for MMVCP. I live in Fl, so we do many day trips. My advise would be to make a plan of attack for each day. You can download park maps off the Disney website. Get the family together and decide which rides are a must-do and make a bee-line for fastpasses. Fastpasses will probably be distributed completely, earlier than usual. Soarin' at Epcot is almost is always sold out early in the day. Remember too, most people tend to head for the right side of the park upon entering.
As for stand-by wait times for the more popular rides, figure about 50-60 minutes maybe longer after lunch time.

Thank you. 50-60 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow. But yes we plan on fastpasses. EMH in the evenings and Just the must do's on our list.
I will download maps now and plan a route, thanks for the advice once again.

Do people really go right?

Yes most people do tend to go right. Even if you pay close attention in some ride queues where it splits, the right side will usually be longer. For example, Thunder Mountain on the last stretch before getting on, it splits into 2 sides.
Glad I could help. Your trip will be so magical. I've always wanted to go for Christmas!

Yes! I am sure we will love the parks and resorts looking so festive. Thank you you have been a great help. :thumbsup2 I will post on the dis as soon as I get back with many pics.
