Hi Everyone, I remember reading at some point if you stay at one of the three Disney hotels, you can do a tree and stocking in your room, has anyone ever done this or does anyone have photos of it??? It would be really helpful to see what they do. Not sure if the Dream Makers that do the In Room Celebrations do this as well. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thank You.:goodvibes

Did you see Aussietravellers' photos of the mini-tree, the stocking & its contents in the Disney at Christmas thread? Pretty cool (but not cheap).

I organised the tree and stocking through Dream Makers and they were both waiting in our room at GCH when we checked in. You can order one or the other, you don't have to order both and they are paid for seperately.

The tree is just a desktop tree, it is not large enough to stand on the ground, but was perfect for our GCH hotel room. The stocking was lovely too and my son got such a surprise when we arrived at our room that first day and there was a christmas stocking with his name on it. The tree also had our family name on the top of the tree.

They were expensive (I can't remember the price anymore, getting old and the memory is going :rotfl: )but for us they were so worth it and I would order them again. We were at the hotel for two weeks (15 nights) up until Christmas Eve so it was really nice being there for the couple of weeks leading up to Christmas and having the tree in our room and it was the first thing we saw when we opened the door. I have included another picture here that I haven't added before. Over the two weeks my son kept adding things to the tree, toys he won at the games area at the pier at CA park and also a few other little decorations that we kept.

There was a large box in the room also for the tree and instruction on how to pack it up and shipping instructions if we wanted to ship it home. I was going to send it home but the expense to ship the tree to Australia would have been too much, so we removed all of the decorations and left the tree behind. We have the decorations to add to our tree now as a memory of our trip to Disneyland during the Christmas season.

I'm happy to ask any questions if you have any :goodvibes

Aussietravellers - I think you or someone told us at one point that the tree was in the range of $200, maybe? Does that sound right? Also, I don't know if you have been following along, but we have a wonderful new DIS-er (Scrappinbear78) who joined the "Disney at Christmas" super thread yesterday because she is planning a Christmastime trip to DLR this year and needs tips and suggestions, etc. - it's a once in a lifetime trip - and they are going all out. One of the things they are doing is getting the adorable tree and the stocking!! I think that will be such a wonderful thing for them to have in their PPH suite. They will have a fairly lengthy stay, so coming back to that tree every day/night will be magical.

I have said it before myself - if money were no object and I was staying onsite at any of the 3 DLR hotels for longer than a couple of days, I would most certainly get that tree and the stocking! They are adorable!!

Just found the post where I had put the price of the tree. It was $187+tax for the tree.

Can't find the price of the stocking, but I will keep looking, I have a feeling it was in the $89 or $99 area but could be wrong, but Dream Makers will be able to give prices, maybe closer to Christmas, the prices may have gone up too from last year.

No I haven't been following (I have been off the air for almost a week, flat on my back with a bad neck, was in agony, couldn't even look at the computer screen :sad1:), I will pop over and have a read. Gosh that sounds like a very special trip for the family and a wonderful idea for them having the tree, it will add a magical touch to their room.

Thank you for these awesome photos, I love them. I might have a few questions tonight, but right now I am at work and can't be on here too long but gotta have a Disney fix of some sort to get through the day. Thank you again and I will be on to chat more later.:goodvibes

Finally had time to sit down and look over things, the tree and stocking look amazing, that stocking is so very cute. I really don't think I have any questions, you said the dream makers did it for you, so that is cool. I will have to call and ask pricing, etc for this year. Thanks again. If anyone else has any other photos feel free to share.:goodvibes
