Was wondering when Christmas tree shops will start discounting their Christmas items? Do they start this week before Christmas?

It has always been my experience that they don't discount their Christmas items until the day after Christmas.

I've found the opposite to be true. There have been times I've gone to mine the week before Christmas and the markdowns are in full swing.

I saw some Christmas stuff in my NJ store (prob. the same one) with some markdown.. but it was stuff like napkins and paper products.

I honestly haven't been to my local store in about 2 weeks (since I go the air cast on my foot), but I do remember going to a couple different ones here in MA a few years back and they had all their stuff discounted (up to 75% off on many things) the week before Christmas.

Maybe they stopped discounting it early. I know I got some really great deals the first year I stumbled across the pre-Christmas mark downs. In fact, I think I still have some of the wrapping paper because I picked up so much.

I say keep checking this week, especially on Christmas Eve. I won't be going anywhere near my local store on Christmas Eve though since it's at Patriot Place and the Patriots have a game on Saturday afternoon. You couldn't pay me to try to drive over there when there is a game.

I was at mine last night. I paid full price for Gift Bags, but really full price was really inexpensive for the quality.

We had stopped at the Dollar store and the bags were terrible, everything I got at Christmas Tree were better quality and all of them were less than $1!

Are you talking about stuff for christmas, or actual TREE shops? You asked about "Christmas tree shops" so I thought it was the latter, not just general items.

I've only noticed trees getting more and more expensive as the date gets closer and people get desperate.

Don't know about artificial trees, though.

There is an actual store called Christmas Tree Shop.

The Christmas Tree Shops offer a wide range of products and tree decoration accessories in discount but it's depend on your location to get it. If you can't afford to buy a big Christmas tree, you can buy little tree port through online farm.

Why are you pulling up threads from last december ?:confused3
