Going down Christmas week and just noticed that the Magic Kingdom opening hours have been changed to 7am that week. Should I cancel our 8am BOG breakfast reservations? How do I maximize the morning now without starving the kids, lol.

They do that a lot during busy times. Busted my pre-park Crystal Palace in June. BOG breakfast isn't anything special so I would skip it and pick up a cinnamon roll instead if you have already been there. If not, its worth going just to see the inside. It's stunning. You can still get at least 2-3 rides in before your ADR. You should still be able to fit a few in after breakfast nearby like the little mermaid. I'd start making fairly early Fastpass around 11 to Noon start time. Hopefully there will still be some evening ones after you finish the 3 with time to see the parade and take an afternoon break if you want. My 2 cents!

We had 7am EMH during Spring Break. The really early AM EMH is golden. We accidentally slept in and didn't get there until 7:30am. The crowds were still really light, and we got a ton done by 10am. Definitely skip the TS meal to hit this one.

We just eat breakfast in the room or on the way. DS eats cereal, either brought from home or bought at the hotel general store, with milk. DH eats a bar. I eat almond butter from individual packets and sometimes fruit or hard boiled eggs bought there. I have bought or had yogurt delivered before too. Then, we usually eat an early lunch, 11am, and maybe even have a morning snack. I don't know how your family handles sweets at breakfast, but if we just have pastries, we crash really quickly. We try to get some protein in there if possible.

I would skip the ADR and use the 7 AM opening. Book a later breakfast is one opens up, but definately take advantage of those early hours if you can.

I'd also cancel and try to get a later reservation, or just skip it altogether. We often do breakfast in the room-cereal, bagels, etc. I wouldn't want to spend that uncrowded early morning time in a restaurant.

If you're planning on hitting MK at 7am. Bring some breakfast bars/bagels etc....to the park with you. Nothing is really open early, except Starbuck's, but that can get slammed with people pretty quickly. Plan on an early lunch at a counter service restaurant (10:30am) if you're not doing table service, in order to stay ahead of the crowds.
