I thought the duet with Cindy Lauper and Frank Sinatra was bad enough...

Today my station played Stevie Nicks yodelling "The First Noel"

and just now they played Celine Dion singing "Feliz Navidad" with a French accent!!

Help!!

What Christmas songs do you think they could've left in the studio???

I love Stevie Nicks's rendition of "Silent Night", but haven't heard her "First Noel". I'm a Stevie fan though, so I'd probably find a way to like it.

Worst Christmas song for me has to be the Muppets "Twelve Days of Christmas" - or anybody's version of the "Twelve Days of Christmas". That song is just too darned long and boring.

Grandma....reindeer song is awful! I'm also not a big fan of Manheim (sp?) Steamroller Christmas stuff...some are ok, but after a while they all start to sound alike to me.

I can't stand "Jingle Bell Rock", especially when every marching band in every holiday parade plays it a million times.

I'm not real wild about "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth" either.

LOL! They just played that one. Funny, I kind of like that one. Bing makes ol' David really come up to the mike and SING. I don't remember him sounding that good and in tune as in that song. But talk about your "strange bedfellows"....

I also originally did not like "Grandma got run over by a reindeer" since I hated the thought of anything happening to my Grandma! But then I saw the video on VH1, and (unless I dreamed this), Grandma wasn't killed at all. She appears at the end of the video coming down the chimney just like Santa, a little dirty, but just fine. Apparently she got herself out of the snow after being run-over and got back to her house and family, who were thrilled to see her alive and well.

Since she wasn't killed, I like the song now!

There is one song I hate. Its some strange woman singing Santa baby like she wants to seduce him!!!!!!!!!!!!! How discusting and wrong is that?
