I have a few questions...

Is the "Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party" worth it?

Does the party have characters out that are not usually out?

My children will be 5 and 8, is the Candlelight Procession something I should look into or wait until they are older?

Does Animsl Kingdom doing anything for the holday?

Does Hollywood Studios do anything for the holiday season?

What is the average weather in December? Is it hit or miss where I should be bringing tank tops and sweaters?lol

Does Pop Century decorate?

Do any deals ever come out for December?

How are the crowds the 2nd week of December?

We enjoyed it. :goodvibes It's not cheap for a whole family though, but when we went (Dec. 03) it was fun. Best part, for me, was my DD (then 4) getting to spend unlimited time meeting with the characters (in their holiday finery) at the Judges' Tent.)

None that I saw, except of course Santa. :santa:

Depends, my DD(then 4) was completely not interested in it. We actually went on the night we arrived (Dec. 2) and were able to get seats without waiting in line. That night the narrator was Ben Vereen. I enjoyed it, but the rest of our group started to get bored (DM, and Dniece21) wanted to leave so we didn't sit through the whole thing. :confused3 It was beautiful though.

Decorations

OSBORNE FAMILY SPECTACLE OF DANCING LIGHTS Was dark the year we were there-We need to go back another time to catch it.

Hit or miss, I'd say. I wore my thermals under my clothes the entire time we were there. But, we're from Cal. and anything below 65 is freezing to us! :rotfl2: However, we did go in the pools.

Does Pop Century decorate?

Don't know

Don't know

We were there Dec. 2-10 and the crowds levels were low. A perfect time to go, even with Regis and Kelly doing the parade that weekend.

We thought mvmcp was pretty good, but a bit expensive. The show in tomorrowland was excellent. The fireworks were okay, but I prefer regular Wishes. The parade was very good. The snow on Mainstreet was magical. Cookies/hot cocoa good. I did not notice any rare characters. I think MNSSHP and the Pirate and Princess parties have rarer characters.

Many people love the CP at Epcot. I liked it, but didn't love it. I had DH and DD3 with me. They both got very bored and wished it was over. It would have been better if it was 20-30 min. instead of 40. I would try it at least once. I think your kids would be fine.

AK only does a special parade, and has some small things going on in camp minnie mickey such as decorated christmas trees and carolers.

DHS has the osborne lights which are awesome. Don't miss this. It starts around 6pm and the lights actually dance to xmas music. Unfortunately, I think the rest of the park lacks in xmas spirit.

Our first night, December 8th, we went to AK and we were freezing. It was very very cold. The rest of the trip was warm in the day and cool at night. We defenetly were glad we packed some jackets and sweaters.

We also stayed at Pop and I can tell you they decorate the lobby with a tree and some nice decorations.

I saved over $300 on my package with a discount offered mid 2006. I'm hoping they do this again since we'll be a pop Dec. 6-16th again this year!

Crowds were great. Unfortunately, the secret is out that this was the best time to go and its getting worse every year. I still like to go this time of year though because of the weather and xmas feel. The longest wait we had was 25 min. all week except for Saturday at MK which was horrible. Shortest waits were 1 hour in the afternoon.

Have fun and hope to see you there!
