Christmas Present Exchange Sent/Recieved-COMPLETED

2 0f my packages still haven't changed status and are saying accepted on october 27th. I don't know what could be taking so long. Is there anything else I can do?

It is such a bummer, you are at the mercy of the postman doing there job and scanning the packages.

My post office is telling me that the package is in the area where it is to be delievered and has been for 3 days! These crazy postmen are holding up this exchange! Hopefully the one I sent will get there today, since it has now had a full week, all of the other packages arrived days ago except for this one!

If they are still saying "accepted" and nothing else....they haven't been scanned along the way. As I understand, not all post offices are good about it and some people don't care if they do it or not

From experience it takes 8 days for parcel post to reach us, so that is today.
My DD's PC is down, so I will try to get hold of her tonight and see if hers has arrived.

For the exchanges floating around there somewhere-did all of you send them Priority Mail? That would also make a difference in delivery time.

That does make a huge difference sometimes. Now, with Christmas coming the mail and postoffices are going to be SO busy. I think parcel gets pushed back on the back burner and is not timely at all.
Also, it usually seems Priority is just a $1.00 or so more. Well worth it IMO.

still waiting on Jessica's and I check my DC again yesterday and it still says accepted on Oct 28 so I called the Post office but the useless guy was working again so i will stop in after work again with my little green slips and hope the one with the brain is there

I hated having to use the little PO but my truck was broke
the stocking will go from the big post office if I have to walk there used themfor the halloween candy and no problems at all :

We noticed that it said she liked nail polish so we set out looking for nail kits with decals and stuff.

Did the cocoa cup arrive unbroken? I was really worried about it breaking.

All four of mine were sent priority mail at the same time, three have gotten to the recipients, just waiting on the one.

Yahoo!! Just got our power back on this afternoon after Hurricane Wilma. On one of the worst days since we lost our power the postman del my package to me. Boy did I need a up life on that day. I was in Scrapbooking Heaven!! From PixieDust 3200 I got a:

Thank you to Gymbomom and her *DD8 for the nice Christmas package. Apparently it got as far as the Post Office here yesterday, but not to my mailbox until today. Our USPS delivery service here is crazy. One day it comes at 10:00 in the morning, the next at 5:30 in the afternoon. But, at least it made it to my mailbox finally.

Inside the box, which is the perfect size for Leontyne Kitty to curl up in , were:
2 Christmas ornaments
A Candy Cane filled with Sweet Tarts
Notepad
Gift Box from Bath and Body Works with little bottles of Cherry Blossom bubble bath, shower gel, lotion and spray
*Little pillow-"Love makes the warmest nest"

Hope I didn't forget anything! *Yes, I did! * It's downstairs and i'm up here trying to finish so that I can go to sleep...early...

Ohh good! I was getting worry about the package, but we all knew about your situation with Wilma, and I am so glad to hear from you.
I love Scrapbooking too, can you tell?I made the Borders and text boxes and also the calendar ones, hope you can put them in your albums soon!
