Christmas party!

I'm having a couple girls over for a Christmas party this year. I had it last year at my house too. Our ages range from 15-almost 17. We're all pretty crafty and would like some fun, but not too cheesy, things to do. We already came up with decorating gingerbread houses, but would like to do some other "crafty" activities, as well. If anyone has any ideas, definitely let me know. I'd really appreciate it.

I had a gingerbread house making party for my friends last year.. this year I'm having a "Fancy Party"(nice clothing required) we're having tea, scones, and finger sandwiches and we're making ornaments.. I put on the invitation that in their RSVP they should tell me what kind of ornament they want to make(clear glass ball, wooden shape, or beaded/wire) and I'm putting little kits together for each person - with an extra or two of each in case anyone thinks a different one is cuter in person or something.

Or they have cute, rather cheap, plain wooden jewelry-type boxes at Michael's and other craft stores - decorating them with paint, decoupage, gluing things on(buttons fabric trimming, etc..), etc.. that wouldn't be too difficult, and it would be individual for each person..

okay, i did this activity when i was like 4, but i'd jump at the oppurtunity to do it again.

what you get is:
pipe cleaners and some beads like this:

The beads need to be see through in a way. They can be any color, but they can't be opaque.

And what you do, it make a little nub on one end, and put the beads on however you like on the other. This way, the beads don't fall off. Once you have them one, put a nub on the other end and bend it like a candy cane. Put them on the tree, and they sparkle with the reflections of the light on the tree.
