Any special places to eat during the Christmas Party? example: to watch a parade, ect.

Any special meals/activities we should do while down there that are offered during the Holiday Season?

We have done Hoop-de-doo and Mickeys BBQ. I have ressies for the playhouse disney breakfast and Chef Mickeys!

We are going Dec.6-12

Thanks!:santa:

Yes - DON'T eat during the Christmas party. :) Eat before and use the party time to enjoy the shows and such that are not offered at any other time. You can eat anytime, you can't always see the shows. :) Everything starts around 7 pm so just eat around 5 or 6 - we do a TS for lunch on MVMCP days so we can just grab a quick CS for dinner around 5 or 6 and not miss anything. Then we enjoy the free cookies and hot chocolate later on during the party.

Our family's the exception the general rule here.

DH has low tolerance for crowds and noise---tho he loves WDW, go figure! Anyway, we know the party will be crowded and busy and he's okay with that as long as he has a bit of time away from it.

Since almost everyone here says either to eat before the party or counter service during the party, I imagine the counter service restaurants will be overrun and loud. We plan on getting there around 5 and enjoying the general Christmas party atmosphere, then seeing the early show of Mickey's 'Twas the Night Before Christmas at 7. After that, we'll head over to Liberty Tree Tavern for an 8:15 dinner...a chance to sit down and rest our feet and eat well! :goodvibes After that, we'll have time to catch the fireworks & 2nd parade...the other show is kind of optional to us.

I think it's best to do what works well for your individual family.

I agree with the pp. I personally always book a TS meal before any of the special ticketed parties. This year we are doing 2 nights of the Christmas Party. We will be going to CM's one night and CP the other. We go on the earlier side; 4-5. We are always at the parties around 6-6:30 and have a blast. We like to sit down, chill, and get our game plan in order. To us the party is about the atmosphere not becoming commando style tourists.:lovestruc

If you are wanting to get an ADR before or during any of the upcoming Christmas parties, you need to get on the phone ASAP. Most of those ADRs are gone at 180 days out.
