Christmas party das?

My son will be going with us for the Christmas parties. We used DAS for him last trip for the first time. I’m under the impression that it’s not available for the parties but I’ve also never looked into it. Does anyone know if it is available? If it is, do you preregister like normal park times? We don’t have any normal park days this time

I have used my DAS at the Christmas party. I don’t pre-register for it so I’m not sure how that works with choosing ahead of time. At the party I know the DAS tile became unavailable for about an hour during the transition from non-party to party crowds. After 7 I think I was able to use my DAS tile on the app but you can always visit a blue umbrella as well. Hope you have a great time!’

I don't believe you can pre-register with only party tickets. You would need to stop at Guest Relations for a blue umbrella when you arrive. I do believe they have a way to set it up that night.

We went to MNSSHP arriving at the 4 pm time they let you in. We immediately went to get our DAS.

How she explained was she would put in the system, book our first time (regular hours) and we could get times on our phone up until 6 pm. Then they turn the DAS in MDE off. You can still get times if you are going to party by going to the ride and having them manually add it. Once the party starts at 7 they will turn it back on in the MDE. This is to discourage folks from getting return times during party hours that do not have party tickets.

And it happened as described. After 6 we went to Pirates to get our return time. The plus for us is that Pirates was very popular with the "MNSSHP overlay" and the line was HUGE. We would have never survived it.

We're going to MNSSHP this year and I'm excited to hear DAS is available!

Is he just going to the party or will he be doing to other parks during his stay? I just recently went through the process of getting DAS and it runs the duration of your stay, and I think they said it was actually good until the end of October.
