Christmas Parade taping?

We'll be at Disney the 1st week of December. Does anyone know if this is when the Christmas Parade is taped for tv? If so, are the performances by the Disney Channel stars open for all guests or do we have to have special passes? Thanks!

Thanks so much Seahunt. I do have another question. Last year's taping was Friday & Saturday, Nov 30 & Dec 1. Do you have any idea if it will be Fri & Sat, Nov 29 & 30 this year or the 1st wkend in December? Thanks!

I don't know when it might be this year, but I do want to add that we didn't get there early or have special passes or anything and we had a great view of the taping of the Jonas Brothers segment! That's all my girls really cared about anyway!
