Christmas Parade taping tickets still available

My family and I will arriving on Dec 5th and our tradition that we have started is the first day at the world we go to MK and walk up main street in awe of the castle. By sounds of things we may not be able to do this? What will non parade taping guests be missing out on. Can we even access main st?

What time does the taping usually wrap up?

Main Street will not be accesible until after 5pm (that's after the Celebrate a Dreams Come True Parade will be that day)
They close the entire Main Street for all those hours while they tape, then comes the regular parade and then it opens for everyone, you can get into MK but the will have you walk on the sidewalks or thru the stores to get to your destination, you can not stop to watch the taping unless you're inside the ropes, if you find an empty spot you can watch the taping.

I would have loved to have done this for my children, but my darn printer doesn't work, so no tickets for us. Oh well, they will still be at Disney what more could they ask for this time of year.

My printers not working and this is what I did.:confused3

I don't have a printer... so when I need to print something I go to Kinko's (or another printing place) and they have computers and printers for customers to use. They charge for using the internet, but all you need is a minute or so to access your email and print the tickets. This is what I'll be doing to print off my parade ticket :)

For any who will be participating in the 7 a.m. taping on Dec. 4:

The Official Word - - The RESORT monorail will be operating from the TTC beginning at 6 a.m. on Dec. 4. You will need to take that monorail to get to MK, as the Express monorail will NOT run until 7 a.m. and you would be late to the park and denied access.

I was at the Poly and at MK today and had the monorail attendant inquire of his manager.

Thanks for the info, now will the trams from the parking lot be running too or will we be able to park close to front?

And what about the buses from the resorts? We will be at CSR.

The buses to MK are always up and running by 6:30 every morning. They may start even earlier that day...be out at the bus stop by 6:15 just in case.

I did not check other than the monorail operations because I was very rushed (my DM's birthday visit), but since participants will obviously be the first "guests" at the park that day, I'm sure the parking would be in the closest guest parking spots so not far to walk. I doubt if a tram will operate that early because not everyone will show up at the same time so it would maybe end up carrying only a few per run and that would not make sense. They would have to be feeling really generous to do that, but anything is possible. ;)

I hope they coordinate with the parking booths as well. I was not able to hang around long enough for them to check into it and was only told parking "should" open at 6 for participants. :confused3

the last time we went for an early morning taping - we were able to park almost next to the fence by the tunnel that the tram goes under to the ticket area - it was an easy walk - even with a baby and a toddler and a mil!!

That's what I figured they will do again. That is the closest regular guest parking area. Since it is "first come, first served" that should be where early participants are directed to park. :)

Wow!! That'll be neat and very weird to not have a tram bring us to the front of the park, even when we've done EMH we've still had to bring the tram. Thanks for your answers!

FYI... I changed 12/4 URL to 12/5 and got this page, saying the 12/5 taping is also full. I don't have enough posts here to provide the link, but change the number 124 in the 12/4 URL to 125 and it will take you to the 12/5 page. Hope this helps!

Sorry if this has been asked before...

We do not have tickets to the any of the the tapings. On 12/3 we have lunch at 1:30 at the Crystal Palace-how the heck do we get there if the castle hub AND main st. are closed?

And on 12/5 we have an appointment at BBB in the castle and we're supposed to be there by 7:40-7:45 AM for check-in for my DD's 8:05 appointment. Again, how do we get there? Are they going to make up walk around the ENTIRE perimeter of MK just to get to the other side of the castle?

SOOOOO FRUSTRATED!!!! :scared: Sorry I can't share in the excitement of this thread!

you'll still be able to get around the park through the different lands, and you'll be able to get through the shops on main st. don't worry! :goodvibes I was worried at first too because I have CP on Friday at 1:05.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but it said specifically in the email that contained the link that they were not to pass it along to anyone.

From the email: "Please do not provide this link information to anyone else as it may jeopardize the ability for others to reserve their tickets."

I am more than happy to share my extra tickets with anyone who wants them but we were not supposed to give out the link.

I would love two tickets, if you still have extra. Thank you.
