We call it christmas but when writing it or typing it we use X Mas just way shorter and easier same meaning for us it is just another expensive holiday LOL.

I guess you learn something new everyday. I was baptised and confirmed in the Episcopal Church, and attended every Sunday with my family. I've always remembered my mom telling my brothers and me that we should never write 'Christmas' as 'Xmas' because it was taking the Christ out of Christmas. That was over 40 years ago, and to this day, I still cannot bring myself to use Xmas in place of Christmas!!

Boy we are starting this early this year. I guess I should just declare my 'side' and be done w/it. I'm all about the Xmas, which is pronounced "Christmas," BTW. Lazy or not, I figure why type 6 letters when you can get away with 1.
