Christmas or Halloween?

This is my first time on the WDW boards as we're closer to DL. We have a trip to DL this August and Christmas. So looking ahead to a trip to WDW in 2006, we're trying to decide whether to go in Oct. for the MNSSHP or Dec. for the MVMCP. Has anyone been to both and have a preference? Reasons?
We have 4 boys who will be 8,7,6 and just turned 3 in case that makes a difference.

Christmas by far. The entire parks are decorated. Where only MK is decorated for Holloween. They have lighting ceremonys, trees, characters and parade specifically for x-mas.

We like MNSSHP better. We had so much more fun, and could walk right on everything. We also like the warmer October weather, and the F & W festival at Epcot is going on.

I'm going to vote Oct too. The weather is typically a lot nicer. MNSSHP is incredible as well. Also the Food and Wine Festival is going on as well. Which is another great event.
