I know it isn't Christmas yet but I'm already thinking about my next trip next Christmas :) It's never to early to plan is it!?!

There be quite a large group of us going and there's likely to be over 10 of us (adults and children) so I was wondering if anyone had any experience of doing a group booking. The plan is to get the direct Eurostar to DLP and then stay in the Cheyenne (or possibly a different hotel - depends of what offer is available). So has anyone ever done a group booking with Eurostar and/or Disney?

Thanks

Marc

Hi, i don't blame you in planning ahead im already thinking of next years Christmas trip too lol:rotfl:.
we went 7th-12th November this year there was 9 adults and 4 kids, we went by Eurostar and stayed at the Cheyenne. We booked through our travel agents who booked it through Disney direct (we usually book through a travel agents for a group this size as if there are any problems they can help) we had 4 rooms in total and requested that we were all next to each other but when we got there we were in the same block (the block is in an L shape) 2 rooms were one end and the other 2 were at the other end (hope this makes sense). With the eurostar again we requested to be together when tickets came half were in 1 carriage the others were 2 carriages away, same on the way home. This was not too much of a problem. as we booked as a group we did save a little on the price i think about £50pp.
We did find that planning and thinking ahead to what you are going to do each day really helped with time saving as with a bigger group we needed it (even if our family thought me and my mum were crazy planning it all out 8 months ahead :lmao:)

Thanks for that. Your plans seem to be the same as mine, so at least it can be done with such a big group :yay: I'll definitely have to get planning. Did you benefit from any of the other offers?

hi, we booked with the 40% offer and the kids under 7 stay and play free we got a price so we went into the travel agents to book it and when they phoned up to book it for us they gave us an extra discount as there were so many of us i can't remember exactly what percentage but was about £50pp we was chuffed with this:banana:.
For dinning we did all have seperate tables in our families as we thought this would be easier. we were told when we pre booked our meals that if we had of booked all together the table serivce restaraunts would charge an extra service fee for being tables over 10 people, this was not a problem for us as we had already decided to eat seperetly before we booked the meals as the families with kids wanted to eat earlier then those who didn't, i thought i would just share this information.

Thanks for all the tips. I hadn't thought about a service charge for the meals. It's something to bear in mind though. How early did you book? Just so it gives me an idea for next year :) If I could book now I would!!!

We booked in March this year, it felt like forever until our holiday.
Mum and I planned everything from leaving home until we got back it did work as there was so many of us we did not want to miss out on anything by not being sure on what we are doing lol. we wrote down everything before we went what everybody wanted to do on the trip. Also we made the most of the emh too. We made sure that we had a couple of days where we went off in the afternoons in our own families so we could do our own little thing.
If there is anything else i can help with let me know.
