I am in the World Dec 19th-Jan 2nd. 1st week at Nickelodeon and second at SSR...

Anyone else there then?

December 26th-Janurary 1 at Coronado Springs, January 1-8 at the Boardwalk Villas. My mom and sister are running the half marathon and my 21st birthday is on New Year's Eve!! :cool1:

Dec 29 - Jan 3rd at Pop! It's our first couple trip, we're really excited and all nervous and stuff!

We'll be at Boardwalk Villas from 12/27 - 1/6 :).

I will never, ever, ever check-in to a DVC resort on New Year's Day again. We did so last year and it was a nightmare. We were not into our room at OKW until after 8:00 PM and it was still being cleaned! The lines were very, very long and the previous guests have a hard time getting out in time. There were a *lot* of grumpy people waiting for their rooms.

If I were you, I would stay at CSR for one more night and then move over to BWV on the 2nd.

I'll have my AGMH with my screen name....Say HI if you see me!

Oh my! That doesn't sound fun! I am going to be at CSR with my cousins and sisters from the 26th-1st. Then my parents, who are the DVC members arrive on the 1st. I am sure they will want to head right to our "home" rather than spending a night at CSR. At least now I will know to expect long lines and no room until the evening. Thanks for the head's up!

Wow, there's lots of us crazy people willing to brave the Christmas/New Year's crowds!!! :cool1:

I just wanted to remind everyone who will be at WDW for NYE to made your ADR as soon as possible!!! Even if you don't think you'll want a sit down dinner. The day can be very long and very crowded and sometimes cold and rainy. The oasis of a table service meal in the mid-evening on NYE is something that cannot be missed!

   i'll be at POP Dec 23 - 28,   so nice to be doing the double digit dance   :banana:can't wait for these next 90 some days to go by

We'll be there Dec 27-Jan 4 at ASMO ! First trip and getting a little bit scared after reading about the crowds...

Ugh, you and me both!! I know my boyfriend planned this trip special for us, but I'm so freaked out!

Me too, kinda. But I've been reading the Unofficial guide and although they do warn you about big holiday crowds, they also say that even with that you can still have a great time. As long as you dont expect to do too much, that is. We have the flights booked so it's too late to change anyhow. So we're just gonna go with low expectations and play it by ear.. no pun intended :)

This will be my 4th trip at this time of year. Yes, it is extremely crowded! :crowded: But, if you go with the right attitude and a plan, you can beat the crowds. The best advice I can offer having been 4 times over the holidays is to get to the parks as soon as they open and make dining reservations far in advance. Just keep a positive outlook and get in the Christmas spirit and you'll be fine! :thumbsup2
