Christmas/New Years 2 Resorts

I'll admit that this isn't going to happen next year and maybe not the year but maybe the next year.

we have been thinking a lot about spending Christmas and New Years at the resort - and - or - combined with a DCL.

what i'm wondering is if we book AK (our home resort) for the full 2 weeks, arriving a few days before Christmas and staying until a few days after NY. how hard would it be to change one week to another resort?

we were kind of thinking either VWL or BW but i know people have said on here before that BW is out of the question at the 7 month mark especially at Christmas

but what about WL? would it be really hard to get a week around christmas there?

Do they do anything special at AK or WL for christmas day itself?

You will need the 11 month window for both weeks.

NYE sold out on points this year at the the 11 month window minus 2 days.

You may be able to waitlist and move that way, but if you check the Dec. waitlist thread you will see many are hoping to do the same thing.

Your plan is sound, book at your home for the entire 2 weeks, day by day and then try to switch.

All the resorts have special events around the holidays. There are carolers, Santa visits, bell ringers, etc.
