Love the Grinch skirt, it is so colorful. Glad C got a chance to show it off on turkey day. The pants for J came out really nice, I would be so scared to work with that plaid but you did a fabulous job.

Your trip is getting so close but I'm sure you will get everything done.

Thanks D I love working with plaids. This one was a fabulous fabric held the creases perfectly. I am going to cut the skirt out this week and try to start it.

I need to finish 2 gives before I get involved in that.

I am so excited to share with you a couple of things I made the past week. I can also show you some things that are cut out and ready to go.

First Up Miss C's Grinch Skirt she actually wore it on Thanksgiving.

The Grinch skirt is adorable. I am sure it looked great on your DD for Thanksgiving. ABC Family is showing the Grinch movie during its 25 Days of Christmas. The plaid pants look great too. I used the same Mickey Santa head for the last Big Give that I did. I like how you added the name to it. Did you need to use Stitch Era to do that? Can't you combine and edit designs on the screen of your embroidery machine?

Okay I have to tell you all I am working on the cutest pair of Cars pants for the boy child I am in love with them I also have plans on embroidering a coordinating shirt which is going to take a few hours.

I did no sewing today because I was swamped with orders from my store since everything is 55% off. I packed 6 orders and have 4 more to do. Hoping to get to them in the AM so I can get back to sewing. I can't wait to get back to scrapbooking and creating totally for fun.

Since having Jimmy it has been a chore to do certain things and the past 2 years have just been nuts. I want to be able to play more on my terms. LOL Maybe that is the turning 40 talking.

Well I need to hit the sack since tomorrow is the boys birthday and another day in paradise.

Don't you have a 4000d? If you do, use the embroidery edit feature on the machine. It is an absolute breeze to combine a design with lettering or even to combine two designs.

Thanks it has been a wild journey with him.

We have no special plans. Honestly he could care less. He hates opening presents. so I made it easy I am buying him an app he has been using for matching and following directions.

I am going to pick up an ice cream cake and we will have cake before we start the dance cycle tonight LOL.

So J had a nice birthday and I am into the craziness of my life which is even more crazy in December. I need to pull some long days and nights this weekend so I am making a list

1. Finish Cars Pants
2. Cars Shirt
3. Penguin Shirt
4. Cut Easy Fits for Give
5. 2 shirts for give
6. USA Shirt
7. Test Design
8. Cut out Christmas Skirt Panels
9. Crayon Roll

If I get at least half of this done I will be a happy person. I also think I may need to bring the embroidery machine back upstairs but we shall see with what I get done tonight.

Ugh .. the dreaded meltdowns ! I find the more prepared they are the better they feel about things. Hopefully it will be a smooth trip.

LOL yeah when my J gets to meltdown mode it isn't good. He has PDD-NOS, SPD and Verbal Apraxia so it is a huge thing I try to avoid. We are down to under 10 a month so I am grateful. A lot of times the meltdowns are his way of communicating since he has trouble talking.

Poor little guy.
I understand though, Jayden actually has to go to a special school because he has such horrible meltdowns. He couldn't function in a normal classroom. But I imagine not being able to verbalize must be so much more frustrating.
Hopefully things will go smoothly for you guys !
