Trying to be very productive.

I am loving the skirt panels, can't wait to see the finished product. You have been super productive!!

Each one of the skirt panels took at least 1 hour. I have a few other projects I need to get too in the next day or so too.

Okay it is Saturday and I have a few things I need to get done so I can post more pictures here.

  1. Goofy Panel DONE
  2. Buzz Lightyear shirt
  3. Cut out Grinch Skirt Started/COLOR]
    [*]Finish Auction Skirt DONE
    [*]Auction Shirt

okay keeping the list small because I also need to do some cleaning. Oh and the Goofy Panel is the last one I need to finish for the Christmas Skirt.

Okay I did some of my list. I need to finish the 2 shirts today. We are also doing dusting and putting up our Christmas Tree. Since we go away for Christmas I do a small tree in the living room. We are starting Dance rehearsals for competition soon so this is really the last weekend I have. I generally do it after Thanksgiving but I have a huge list and C wants to do it so I will humor her.

Hopefully I will have a few things to post tonight.

So if you follow this report you know that my life gets crazy and weekends are not the best for J. Well this past weekend was no exception. Sunday was very trying.

I didn't get much accomplished except finishing the Buzz shirt which was for a Big Give.

this is the whole outfit I made, I love the black fabric.

If you know me you also know that I do not function well unless I have a list of 10 - 15 items left to do.

Right now I have 2 half finished projects one is another auction item and I just need to do the shirt and put elastic in the skirt.

The second project is Cs grinch skirt which needs to be sewn together and elastic put in it. Then it is on to another give and more of our Disney sewing. I have to make a list with days left since we are now at 33 days.

Oh did I mention I have 2 big Gives today. I hate saying no to them and they make me happy.

I hope to post the Grinch Skirt tonight.

Oh and I almost forgot I have happy news. J went on the potty twice in the past 2 days so I am so ecstatic. We are trying to keep it low key right now. I put him on the toilet before bath and when he gets up in the morning or from a nap. It is the little things.

That is so cute.

I hear you on the potty training. I don't think DS3 who will be 4 at the end of the yr will ever be fully potty trained:sad2: And I think it is because he doesn't have to wash his hands if he uses his diaper:rolleyes1 I never had this problem with my first two.

Awww... I love that outfit... You know I love TS almost as much as Donald...

And yay for little J - GREAT JOB!!!

So I totally blew an opportunity to sew yesterday because I just had no energy after cooking dinner on Thursday. I was so stressed about the whole meal.

It was a good thing I ordered dessert and bought an appetizer because my SIL showed up with nothing and never called because she wasn't feeling well. :headache:

I am glad it is over.

I have a bunch of stuff to do tonight once DH gets up

Here is a list.

  1. Cut out Big give skirt
  2. sew skirt & shirt
  3. Wash shirts
  4. Big Give Shirt
  5. Cut out Christmas Easy Fit shorts for Boy
  6. Cut out Lightening McQueen Easy Fits
  7. Cut out Christmas skirt panels
  8. Sew one pair of easy fits

I also cut out a pair of Christmas themed plaid pants for the boy.

I have a bunch of stuff ready to sew, didn't get to the skirt panels because my head isn't into the math.

All 3 pairs of the easy fits have the waists & hems pressed into them. The big give skirt has the hem band pinned to it. I am going to try and sew 2 pairs of pants before the kiddos get up in the morning.

Chiara... You always amaze me with how much you accomplish. You seriously sew circles around me!

I can't wait to see pics of everything.

And, for D's own curiosity... do you have another trip planned after this one??? I thought you owned DVC, but I can't remember for sure.

D~

Actually we have 2 more trips planned.

We are going on Easter/Our 15th Anniversary in April.

We also have a cruise in July out of NY

and we have our annual August trip planned.

we are DVC so we go a lot.

Awesome... I bet Easter is amazing. :lovestruc

I've always wanted to do a Disney cruise too... Another curious question, since you are DVC, do you get discounts on cruises?

D~

you can use your points tocruise but it isn't the best use for them.

We are paying for our cruise. We booked when we were on board in August. You get a better discount by booking on board and then changing your date if you need to.

:thumbsup2 That is awesome that you get to go so often. If airfare wasn't so expensive I would love to go down in October. We have been at Easter time too and the weather is beautiful though the parks are a bit crowded. We would go to MK for 7am rope drop that was how crowded it was. :crowded: It's funny because I have a picture of us outside MK and it was around 6:45 in the morning.:scared1:

I am so excited to share with you a couple of things I made the past week. I can also show you some things that are cut out and ready to go.

First Up Miss C's Grinch Skirt she actually wore it on Thanksgiving.

Next is an outfit I finished this morning. I had done the shirt a while back when I was working on Lisa's Give. It was a test shirt of me adding a name in Stitch Era and I decided J needed matching pants. I found this fabric when searching on etsy for fabric for Lindsays Give.

and lastly these are the items I have cut out and ready to go.

A skirt for Deanna's Give, christmas cars shorts for the boy and Cars PAnts for the boy.

Pardon the mess in the background that is stuff from my store that I am in the process of closing.

Really wish I was home sewing. I have finally figured I work much better in the last month before the trip instead of planning ahead.

How absolutely adorable! I'm so looking forward to upgrading to clothes!! :goodvibes

Love the Grinch skirt, it is so colorful. Glad C got a chance to show it off on turkey day. The pants for J came out really nice, I would be so scared to work with that plaid but you did a fabulous job.

Your trip is getting so close but I'm sure you will get everything done.
