Thanks Vanessa! It now doesn't seem like the trip is so far away. Can't wait until it is single digits though!!!Yeah for Double Digits!

It must be so comforting to know that someone was culling out all that junk mail for you!!! Kinda gives new meaning to that little message on the outside of the envelope......"You have been pre-screened...."We did have post offices- and they actually worked pretty well- they were very good at looking through every piece of mail that came to us; thorough they were!!!
Thanks for the D3! Yes, Chapin is outside of Columbia, but not sure you would call it a suburb. Anyway, we are about 1.5 to 2 hours west, on the other side of Anderson.Joining in on the double digits dance!
Where in SC do you live? My brother moved to Columbia earlier this year and just bought a house in Chapin (which I think is a suburb of Columbia?).
Not sure which is worse, you rubbing it in or giving away answers to the Marco Island quiz.....Just stopping in to say HAPPY DOUBLE DIGIT DAY before I head down to the pool for awhile.![]()

I'm really not. I told Nicki it would be boring, pretty much the same general questions each day; cup of coffee, sunning, etc. You just happened to hit one of the expected daily activities......at the pool, out getting sun!I thought you weren't doing a Marco Island quiz??? I can tell you we had a HUGE surprise tonight after dinner (and Nicki can't play...because she knows all about it).![]()
Certainly the goal!!!I love seeing the parks decorated for Christmas!
You have to take more pictures this year.
It's a little bit difficult getting into the Christmas spirit when you can wear shorts and t-shirts at a christmas parade. In a picture I know Jordan would appreciate, here are my two oldest "waiting" in the warm sun for the parade to start.....

Nobody has been here to help me in that area! With you, Glenn and Rosie off doing something else........hmmm doesnt seem to be much mischieve on here since i havent posted in a few days...does that mean im the problem and not the solution.

Those two would normally be that way too. I didn't even pay the bottle any attention. I'm guessing it was probably water since it got rather warm that afternoon. They found a small patch of shade to lay in. They weren't exactly happy when we woke them up as the parade started!I love the pop-bottle-pillow!!My kids haven't done that since they were car-seat-age mine are of the "get away - don't touch me" variety

Isn't it funny how we are all diplomatic only when we are responding to people in our own threads??I vote "Problem"!
Trying to go commando with Andrew's BFF, it was just easier not to have to deal with the camera much. When I did, it was usually to get pictures of him for his family to enjoy and him to have. Don't feel comfortable posting those online, although I'll probably post some later showing backs of heads.Nice pictures Marvin. I noticed the water bottle and thought that was pretty clever. Yes, we need more pictures following this next trip.
Kathy, you ninja poster! I've still got three months. Can't roll out all the info too quickly or the last 2 and a half months will see a lot of cobwebs growing on this thread!!!Love the Christmas photos at AKL and, of course, the parade. One of these days we'll get there at Christmas.
However, Marv, I'm a little disappointed. I was expecting some PLANS on this update. I mean, I've been gone six days and that is all you came up with?![]()
