Christmas is over...now we can fully look forward to WDW

Don't get me wrong :santa: I love Christmas. But for me there is a little relief that it's over now, and I can just focus on how excited I am for Disney!! DH and I are leaving January 19 with the whole fam (Mom, Dad, Sis, Bro in law, and Nephew). Who's with me?? Anyone else, glad to get through the holidays to fully emerse themselves in all Disney, all the time?? I CANNOT wait! :flower3:

Count us in! We leave on Jan.23 to spend 8 nights at BWV.

We have until 7/9 to wait till our next trip to BWV-BW view, but today I booked a car and we were looking at menus to decide where to book a few ADRs on 1/11. What better way to spend a snow day at home.

Bobbiwoz, the airport is supposed to start flying again soon. The wind is still really bad so I expect there will be more delays and cancellations. Hope your family gets out soon.

Count me in! Christmas was great and we're planning for the New Year's Eve party as well, but it's really nice to have the trip to look forward to. We leave January 22nd and will be returning home February 3rd. This will be our first trip in January and to make it extra special I will be celebrating my birthday and leaving behind a job I've outgrown and returning to a brand new one a little higher up the career ladder! Lots to look forward to in the new year!:goodvibes

It's so cold here at WDW that I envy you folks coming in at the end of the week when temps rebound to the normal 70's. I'm planning on two fleeces tonight for Illuminations!

And I'll be back for a pre-60 th celebration at the end of the month. Tood bad 2/2 is a Wednesday when I need to be working.

Solo trip Jan 16-22 and really hoping for warm weather and no wind. I have a large family gathering tomorrow and then I am done with my part of the Christmas entertaining. The decorations will come down this weekend and next weekend will be all about organizing for the trip.

Count me in!! I go Jan 29th and I can hardly wait!!:cool1::banana: It is ALL I can think about!

Me too, me too!!! Haha! My sister and I have been marking off 'events' on the calendar just ticking away and Christmas was the big one! I never like to wish these things away but this year it's different. We're going March 19, SSR!!! Just us and our little ones, no husbands!!!!

3 months from today, I'll be on a plane.:goodvibesCan't wait- 4 nights at THV and then 3 more at BCV- our first time at each. I was thinking before the
holiday, just get through Christmas and then you can think about your trip. Now I can enter trip planning mode.:cool1:

January trips are becoming a tradition with us now and some years, it's just like, Christmas is just a stepping stone on the way to our Disney trip. Maybe sort of sad in a way and yet, it's so nice to have something else to focus on, especially in the face of the Minnesota winter! 9 days and Florida, here we come! (3 days in Vero and 4 days in WDW) :cool1:

We still have a little bit to go (4 months and 1 week to be exact). However, now that Christmas is over with, I can really focus on our trip. Since I work in retail, my hours will be going down the next couple of weeks....which means that I will be on the DIS a ton more than I have before :cool1:

This is really a long lasting thread LOL. I posted last year on how glad I am that the Christmas holiday is over. Again we are in the longest two weeks of the year :lmao:. We leave on Jan 14 for the World and will get to stay until Jan 22.:cool1:

I'm with you! My husband and I were just talking about this today! Now that the Christmas rush is over we can really start thinking about our trip in March for mardi gras! Can't wait! A little over 60 days until we are there for our first trip home!
