Celebration is really nice at Christmas. It snows there too on select nights.

Some of the dinner shows have special Christmas shows, eg. Dixie Stampede. There is also a town called Christmas or Santa Claus or something that people travel to so they can post their cards from there....I think there are gorgoeus decorations in the hotels too.

Sorry not to be more specific, all this is from guidebooks!

In Celebration there is a month-long festival will be packed with holiday essentials, including photos with Santa, holiday carolers and the Celebration Express train ride.

Located at Celebration's Market Street.

Karen is right about Gaylord Palms, which is sort of Kissimmee (just around the corner anyway) , another link shows many events scheduled:

I like the sound of this - anyone know where it is, or any more details please? :santa:

Also a drive around some of the villa communites where locals live is another idea as some of the houses are absolutely gorgeous with their decorations :)

Dee, I stuck Christmas, Florida in Google and there were loads of hits, this included:

Christmastime in Florida

What a beautiful time in Florida! Attractions, towns, houses, boats and even golf carts light up the season with millions of lights. Lights twirled around palm trees and large ornaments dangling from the oak trees. And not only do we have street parades, we have boat parades, and some neighborhoods have golf cart parades! So enjoy the perfect weather Floridians and visitors and have a Merry Christmas!
