What special events do they do for the Holidays at the parks and resorts.

This will be our first trip during the holiday season and we don't wan't to mis anything. My sister and I are going no kids for a week Nov 25th to Dec 2nd.

Will do Christmas shopping but would love a list of special events or exibits or anything od intrest.

we will be staying at Pop Century. AAA rate $65.00 per night. Is this a good deal for this resort.

Thanks T:santa:

Holidays Around The World & Candlelight Processional
Epcot
November 23 - December 30, 2007
Throughout World Showcase, many holiday legends come to life to share the customs of their countries. Don't miss the Candlelight Processional, an inspiring musical retelling of the Christmas story.

The Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights
Disney-MGM Studios
November 12, 2007 - January 6, 2008
Welcome back this popular tradition as millions of lights add their brilliance to the backlot cityscape.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party
Magic Kingdom
November 12,15,16,25,27,29,30
December 2,4,6,7,9,11,13,14,16,18, 20 & 21
Join the celebration and make your holiday the merriest with this festive party - the best gift that you can't fit under your tree.

Also be sure to check out other resorts' Christmas decorations, especially Grand Floridian, Yacht and Beach Club, Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge. The regular rate for Pop Century is $82 per night or $94 for preferred rooms (50s, 60s, and 70s buildings), so that sound like a pretty good deal.

Do not miss the Osborne lights. They are so amazing. The Very Merry Christmas Party is also great. Hot cocoa and "snow" in Florida is fascinating to even the kids. hahaha

You should have a great time as crowds are usually low around this time of year. Although you may be a weekend early, one of the interesting things to see (if you are into this) is the filming of the WDW Christmas Day Parade shown on ABC. If you get to MK early you can stand along Main Street and see various stars perform. After awhile it gets a little old as they keep doing retakes but it certainly opens your eyes that the parade that seems to go smoothly on Christmas day is actually two days worth of filming in early Dec boiled down into one or two hours.
