Christmas in Disney! lets get excited!!

Since our daughter has exams until the 21st of Dec we are planning to leave for our drive around 1pm (going thru Buffalo... I95 route).If we were to stop around midnight where would we be? Does anyone know this?

Not quite sure where you are starting from for us being from Oakville Ontario.
Wytheville VA is about 10 hours from us According to Google maps.

Is it crazy to drive straight through? Leave at 1pm and hopefully arrive 1pm next day.
Also, is anyone worried about the crowd level during xmas time Dec21 - Jan 1?

I can't comment on the driving question but yes the crowds will be crazy. The Unofficial Guide says all parks will be a 9 or 10 (most crowded) and there will be no "better" day for the MK. Go early, stay late. In the end if we get that claustrophobic feeling we head to Epcot as it is the park most able to handle huge numbers. Have fun, we'll be there too!

Go early, stay late. In the end if we get that claustrophobic feeling we head to Epcot as it is the park most able to handle huge numbers. Have fun, we'll be there too!

We were there in 07 and went to Epcot on Christmas Day as we were told that this is the best park to absorb the massive crowds - didn't really do any rides just walked around (we were staying at BC) then went AK on boxing day - spent about a half hour trying to fight the crowds just to get to everest and then just left. Checked out the next day to go home.

My Sis and family were there last Christmas and had no issues with crowds at all. Since nothing good has happened in the economy I'm hoping this year it will be the same. We would not be going this year if the same crowds were anticipated.

we fly out of Winnipeg Dec 8 for one week !! Anyone else there then ? we're at the cbr.

DD and I leave on Dec 11th until the 16th for a little pre Christmas magic!! We get the fun and excitement of a Disney Christmas vacation and still be home with family and friends. We can hardly wait!!

Ouch! I thought we had it rough in March/08 when we got in at 1 AM instead of the expected 7:00 PM. We had our snag in Denver. Had a gate, had a crew, but no plane! Seems it came in from Mexico and they wouldn't release it from the international terminal for some reason.

As you say, maybe this year will be smoother!
