Amazingly enough we made it to MGM for early entry! This whirlwind Disney visit was really starting to take its toll and we were TIRED! My feet were showing a little wear too! But, with only a couple hours to spare, we wanted to get in some time at MGM before leaving. We were able to walk right onto rockin' roller coaster twice with very little line! We just can't get enough of that take-off! We got a fast pass for TofT and wandered around some shops for a little while. We hadn't seen Four for a Dollar (preshow for Beauty and the Beast) yet this trip so we were excited to find out we could fit them in on this, our final day! The guys came out singing some great songs as well as a Christmas song. Dh was in heaven! We feel a little silly walking out of the theatre after the preshow is finished, but we didn't have time for Beauty and the Beast today. By now our FP time for TofT was ready so off we went. The ride was as fun as usual but I think they had some technical difficulties at the end. Instead of having door to the exit open right away, we sat there for 5 minutes staring at a grey wall. The door even opened to the grey wall! It actually added to the fun of Tower of Terror! One boy asked his mother if we were going back up again! ;) No problem. The elevator finally did turn the right way and we got out. Our friends were picking us up to take us to the airport in half an hour so we just had time to get some turtles fudge! Yum! It wasn't as fresh as its been, but it was still fantastic. We slowly walked out of MGM and headed to the airport.

All in all, Christmas in Disney is fantastic! We're both Disney veterans but we hadn't been at Disney over the Christmas period. It felt like we were there for the first time! Although we did lots of rides, we focused this trip on the Christmas shows and decorations. We went over the American Thanksgiving which was something I worried about for crowds. However, with fastpass and early entry, we still managed to see what we wanted to see. I recommend that if you stay onsite to take advantage of EE for a couple hours but then switch over to a non-EE park for the remainder of the day. Weather was VERY cold. We didn't wear shorts once during this trip. However, I kept hearing from Florida natives that this cold spell was very unusual. It's usually 10% warmer. Highlights included all the special Christmas festivities in all the parks but the candlelight processional was definitely our favourite with the fireworks during MVMCP second. The Grand Floridian was our favourite hotel for decorations but Wilderness Lodge was a close second. Disney magic is still alive and well. Writing this trip report is bringing back so many wonderful memories. Now, I must go and start planning our next trip! Thanks to all of you who read this report. It was fun writing!

Thanks for taking the time to write about your trip. I really enjoyed all the installments :)

Great trip report!! I hope we can get as much covered during our trip.

Just one question -- how did you get between the parks? Did you use WDW transportation or did you drive yourself?

At this time next week, I will be doing the final packing for our trip!!YEAH!!

Wow, you must be getting so excited for your trip! Generally we used Disney transportation on the trip, but sometimes we'd drive to the Ticket Transportation Centre, use Disney transportation for the day, then get back in the car and drive back to the hotel. Have a wonderful time!!
