Sara. :)

Do you know if the Disney Village will have the xmas fair?

Does anyone know why the parks generally close so early? I live near Disneyland in California, which will close as late as midnight on busier seasons (winter holidays and summer...even right now they're still closing at midnight on weekends), so having the DLP parks close so early was a bit of a shock to the system.

Hi moikturtle and welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:
We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

It may also have something to do with noise and light levels for surrounding settlements :)

I haven't read anything about it, but then again I haven't found anything much about what is happening at Christmas!! Does anyone know?

This is great news - potentially 6 hours a day riding BTM in the dark! ;)

Still hoping that with the later hours they might decide to have fireworks at Xmas instead of just New Year. Also waiting of menus and details of shows etc - in fact the waiting is just too much.

Ps Just managed to download my first photo to my signature - it's only taken 6 years and nearly 1000 posts LOL. The photo is my DD at DLP in May.

Thanks - makes planning a little easier now. Does anyone know when they announce parade times etc.

I'm a bit bothered because we're there Nov 27th-30th and the park closes at 7pm, unlike every previous year we've been at the same time when it has closed at 8pm. 1 hour doesn't make much difference but hoping that Fantillusion will still be on every night. It seems a lot to cram in after dark with the fairytale ceremony as well. If anyone finds out, please let me know!!

Thanks :sunny:
