I bought a Smithfield spiral sliced ham with honey glaze last week- 9 lbs for $13, pretty good deal. It was fully cooked & sliced, so easy to follow directions on the pack of glaze, tasted good too. It fed 4 of us 2 days, plus fed 4 hungry guys at work, so it would serve 12 people easy.
I usually buy the Honey Baked one, but I bought the Publix version, its just as good and cheaper. I have Mac and Cheese and Baked Beans also rice and a veggie.
I got a Thorne Apple Valley spiral sliced honey and brown sugar ham at Meijer yesterday for $1.79 a pound. I got an 11 pound ham for about $20. I thought it was a pretty good deal. I'll just cover it with foil and heat it up. I'm thinking I'll go with cole slaw (that's always good with ham) and of course cheesy potatoes. We'll also have deviled eggs, rolls. That's about it. Oh, and a beef tenderloin for the grown-ups! And much wine and merriment.
I buy from Sam's Club a full boneless Smithfield Black forest ham. It's not spiral sliced. It is not cheap initially, an approx 10 lb ham goes for about $32but we can get multiple meals on it. It is simply the best ham we've ever had. There isn't an ounce of fat on this ham.

The Butchers Cut Spiral Glazed Ham from Von's.
It was free from work. It's 8.5 lbs which is a lot of ham for a family of two! I always serve the same thing with it...
Scalloped Potatoes
Fresh Green Beans Almondine
King's Hawaiian Rolls
This year I got a spiral cut half ham for DH and I. I will bake it with a glaze of pineapple juice, brown sugar, and cloves. We'll have smashed red potatoes (I LOVE that I don't have to peel them!!), and bread of some kind. Maybe some corn or a salad, too, if I want a veggie. Oh, we'll have cookies and pumpkin pie for dessert.
