Christmas Goodies w/ snack credits??

Just wondering if anyone at GF now or recently back knows if you can use a Dining Plan snack credit to get a christmas cookie etc. from the Gingerbread house in the lobby? Not something BIG like the mini houses...just a cookie.

Also, where do I find the Mickey head rice krispy treats that are on the plan? My son is in private kindergarten and they have only 5 kids in their class. I know we won't use all of our snack credits so I figured I'd get one for him to bring to each of his class mates.

Hmmmm...these are good questions and hopefully if we keep this bumped up we can get answers for you.

I do know they have rice krispies Mickey heads at MK, the candy place, but not sure if they are the ones you can use for snacks..

If you cannot get these answers before you leave, when you get there I am sure you will get the answers you need from guest services...

When we were there in June on the dining plan, I used up my leftover snack credits on mickey rice krispy treats at the Mara (Animal Kingdom Lodge counter service). However I can't say that the treats ever made it home!

Thanks gcphil! We round out our trip at AKL so it's nice to know I can pick them up there!

Also hoping this bump might get an answer on Christmas Goodies! If not, I'll know on 12/3 and fill you in.

rice crispy treats can also be found in the confectionary store in MK (in the front of the park w/ all the cadies); they also have them at world of disney in down town disney; we also saw them at goofy's candy shop there in downtown disney, and in the choclate store (not sure of the name - but they have some really good chocolate covered apples/ candy apples) on the side of down town disney near wolfgang puck's and virgin records;

there are several places to grab them.

not sure about the gingerbread cookies though...

You will not be able to use your snack credits in any retail stores. I asked at the candy store on Mainstreet at the MK. Since they are labled as merchandised and they are not set up for using the dining plan. I think that means that would not be able to use snack credits at the gingerbread house either.

I picked up the rice crispy treats at the POR food court. I never found them anywhere else as a dessert or food item, other than a food court at a resort.

The only place we could use a snack credit for a Mickey crispy treat was in the resort food court. I think all resort food courts have them. We also took a few home, along with some chips and juice.
