Hi everyone!
We're taking one day off from another trip to experience a Disney Christmas. I have 2pm reservations for tea at the Grand Floridian, and we'll be going to MVMCP after that. We're huge gingerbread fans and will have a one day photopass in hopes of getting some great family photos.

What other hotels should we visit and in what order?

Is it worth it to taxi/bus to BW/YC/BC and see their displays or should we stick with the monorail resorts and WL? I've heard Poly had a lackluster display last year, but don't know about years before that.

We were at WDW last December (2016). We stayed at the Boardwalk. I don't recall them having a significant gingerbread display. They had a thing where you could build your own houses, and they sold some treats, but not an impressive display. If I recall correctly, the Beach Club had a moving carousel display that was impressive, but not large in size. The best display I recall seeing was at the Grand Floridian. From what I recall reading last year, the gingerbread displays at a lot of resorts had been scaled down from years past.

As for photopass, I do not remember there being photopass photographers at any of the resorts, other than GF. But they took our picture in front of the large Christmas tree. We did a tour of the gingerbread displays of the monorail resorts later in the evening, so they could have had photographers available at other times of the day.

The tree at the wilderness lodge is very impressive. I can attest that the display at the boardwalk had been subdued over the years.
