christmas gift strategy

Probably does not really belong here but dont know where to put it and it sort of is a strategy the people in my life dont "get" how excited I am about what I managed to hash out for my 5 and 3.5 year old!!!

I have ordered each girl a park authentic princess dress (should be here now any day) as well as having gotten each of them a princess suitcase. Santa will have the suitcases sitting out with a little book that will have each of the following words per page (one word per page to get excitement built up):" in 6 more night nights you will be going to disney"

I cannot wait for my 5 year old to read it out loud!!!!!!!She has been "bugging" us for months about wanting to go back to disney so I know she will be over the moon.

That sounds awesome!! I'm sure your girls will be super excited! And, as a mom of five (no littles anymore...only two left at home, ages 13 & 15), I think it's a great idea to only give them 6 days' notice We surprised our five on Christmas morning in 2001 with a January trip to WDW. They only had to wait 10 days, and they had a little time to browse through all the books and info to pick things they wanted to do. Funny thing, we are going on January 4, 2014 with our two teens. We told them in October. Recently, our daughter, 13, said, "Mom, y'all shoulda waited until closer to the trip to tell us! This is too long to wait!". Lol.... Hope your Christmas surprise is awesome and your trip magical!

I love this! I'm thinking of doing something similar for our daughter next year, but our trip isn't until the end of January so she'll have to wait a full month!
