Over the years, we have elected to use the money we have set aside for family/friend holiday gifts to worthy causes -

This year, we would like to share with you, what we have done and hope that maybe you can see the benefit of giving from your heart a gift that a child can truly appreciate.

The Smile Train is an organization that provides cleft palate surgery for children who would never have the opportunity to smile.

Organ donation was as easy as giving away her toys and clothes to children who were needy. It really didn't take any courage, just part of letting go and letting the memories be just that memories.

It took a lot for me to go from a materialistic "me! me! me!" person to one who can give without wondering what I will get back. It took the unconditional love of a child that stayed with us only 7 years and gave meaning to what living was all about.

Thanks Robin - I'm not really incredible - just glad to have realized that I am not the "center of the universe" soon enough to be of some help to others!!!!
