HI!
My sister is 4 months pregnant, and I'm trying to figure out some more things to get her for christmas. I was thinking something like a "pampering basket" or something along those lines. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!

What about a gift certificate for a pregnancy masage? I got one when I was 7 months pregnant and it was wonderful! Incredibly relaxing.

I would get her a gift card to the Gap, or Old Navy for maternity clothes. With my first, I didn't show until about 4 months, so that would have been a great present. Heck, I would have liked that with my second as well!

Also, depending on how sensitve her sense of smell is, there might be some scents that don't agree with her. You could always get a Bath and Body Works gift card, then she could choose the scents that work for her.

What about a gc for a manicure/pedicure?

Hope that helps!

If you do a basket, how about a pregnancy or baby book, a small photo album for her purse, or specialty skin care items for pregnant women? I got a pretty makeup bag and a pearl necklace at my shower that was really nice to get. Moms to be need a little personal stuff also.

How about a gift certificate for her to get a professional photo shot done.
I have seen some very nice photos done of women while they were pregnant and that is a gift that they can cherish forever, and also show their children as they grow up.

You could also do a cast of the tummy.

That would be nice as well as the massage.

Me personally--my Christmas list was things I needed aftewards for me....like my new running gear that is just a little larger than what I own (not that i'd be running right away or anything). I have this thing with not wanting maternity items as a b-day or Christmas gift when pregnant.

Just my $.02.

Things kind of in honor of my pregancy but could be used when I am not prengnant such as the photo shoots, pampering items, and massage would be great. Gift cards to stores that sell other items/clothing in addition to maternity are good.

For me--if it were clothing related to my "condition"--I would love a gift certificate to motherwear (they do the nursing clothes). Hard thing on that is it depends on you knowing what she plans on doing in regards to feeding the baby.
