How about name that tune with Christmas carols?
I'll try to think of some others.
One favorite thing we always do before Christmas is have an Onesiphorus (??? spelling - I know I really butchered that name) service. The church brings in vases full of roses for the adults to use and carnations for the kids. The idea is to give people who have been a blessing to you, etc. a thank you while they are here.......so if there is someone you wish to acknowledge you may do so but you don't have to. The pastor usually starts off and then anyone who likes may come and take a flower or two and publicly acknowledge the person (thank them or say whatever you'd like)for whom they would like to give the flower.....then you take the flower to that person, give them a hug or whatever. It's really a touching service.....only thing is it can go well over the regular church service time frame.
