Hi There!

I will be in DLR from Nov 16-20 and was wondering if the Christmas fireworks will be showing nightly? I went in early Dec. of 2007 and they were nightly. I know the official Christmas season starts Nov 13-Jan 3 but wasn't sure about the fireworks frequency.

Thanks for your help!!!

I read a post on another board from Darkbeer that said starting November 13th, the fireworks would be nightly.

In 2006 they were nightly...I am hoping that is still the case as we will be there Nov 30 & Dec 1

The holiday fireworks are always shown nightly from the beginning of the official holiday season through the end. Have a great trip!

Just a word of caution so you are prepared (because I wasn't and freaked out) the fireworks will be cancelled if there are high winds. Even if it doesn't seem that windy but there is wind higher up they will cancel the fireworks and they don't tell you until they are scheduled to start.

When we went during the 50th they were cancelled every single night we were there and I just about let it ruin my trip. Sure, it sucked, but I needed to move on and enjoy the rest of the trip. What can you do anyway except get frustrated?

Hopefully everything goes great for your trip, but November has Santa Anna winds so be aware of the possibility and don't put it off until the last night.

Thank you for the warning. I hope they don't canceled!:sad2: I love the holiday fireworks! I will try to watch every night just incase.

If they get cancelled every night then you are just out of luck. And bummed. :sad1:

Otherwise I advise people to follow my fireworks rule: :)

laura&fam's word of caution is right on the money. We always try and catch the fireworks the first night of our trip too. We have been there on more than one trip where they have been cancelled almost every night. But even when they were cancelled, they still played "White Christmas" and made it snow. Plus now they have the castle lighting ceremony, so at least you would see something pretty.
