What do you serve on Christmas eve? It's just our small family tonight then the in laws come over tomorrow.

I'm thinking of making our own pizza and serving finger food type things.

What are you serving today/tonight?

My wife's not feeling well today, so our Christmas eve plans to visit family aren't goint to work out, so we'll probably make our Christmas Day dinner tonight, instead: Spinach and cheese ravioli, roasted Brussels sprouts, and cheesecake for dessert.

Christmas Eve is always a party before church with lots of appetizers, and I think there's going to be a ham too.

I think after 5:00 mass, we'll go out to eat if we can find someplace open. Maybe we'll have to do Chop Suey Palace.

We usually do an easy Christmas eve dinner because I make a huge dinner on Christmas day. That way we can spend the evening visiting and playing games instead of cooking and dishes. Tonight we are having homemade vegetable beef soup, french bread and cherry pie. There's enough for friends that will stop in through the evening.

Christmas Eve is always the same at my parent's house. The whole day is meatless per my an old family tradition on my dad's side.

So we have smoked fish, some sort of soup, usually a seafood chowder and other dishes. This year I am making a pierogi casserole as a side dish.

We also do gluhwein which is a german hot spiced wine and other assorted wines and beverages.

We usually do appetizer type food but this year we are having Irish Stew. DS18 wanted stew so we thought we could have it tonight. Tomorrow we are doing fondue.

We are making chicken and dumplings for dinner tonight. We are having caeser salad and fruit on the side.

That sounds good.

We are having tortellini, salad, bread, banana vanilla wafer pudding and chocolate pie. We usually go away for Christmas Eve, But DH is recovering from ACL surgery. We will go to families tomorrow.

We're having a nice roast beef and mashed potatos dinner tonight and tommorow will be whatever looks good at the Rose and Crown.

We are going to make a big 'ol plate of nachos. I am tempted to grab some sparkling cider too, but we have soda coming out of our ears. I grabbed all the fixins for them yesterday. They sound soooooo good!!

Breakfast tomorrow will be fruity pancakes (pancakes with strawberries on them - our version of IHOP's Rooty Tooty), sausage patties, eggs.

we are having steak skewers, ribs, hash brown casserole, broccoli casserole, baked beans, relish plate, deviled eggs, rolls, cookies, cheese ball and if I have time, Pioneer Wife, Apple dumplings. Its a pretty easy meal to put together!

we are also meatless on Christmas eve-so im making our tradional clam chowder-veggies and dip and pumkin pie.

I'm doing a nice lasagna dinner before we all head to church. I'm hoping there will be some leftovers for the day after Christmas.

Tortellini soup, salad, and French bread are for dinner. Cookies for dessert!

We're having roast pork, green beans, rice with pigeon peas, potatoes & apple pie - it's a combination of my Mom's side of the family, my Dad's (German) and my DH's favorite dessert. Christmas Day we would probably have lamb but we're having it on Sunday since tomorrow we're going to my BFF's house.

Merry Christmas everyone!
