Christmas Eve Dinner Recommendations

Spending our first Christmas at Disney this year! WOO HOO!
Anyone have any recommendations on where to do a Christmas Eve dinner if we are looking for something "traditional"? Not necessarily looking for turkey and dressing (but if restaraunts will be serving that, tell me who!) but we don't want to do Whispering Canyon or something like that either.
Any suggestions are welcome!

What about a character dinner at Park Ave (Grand Floridian) then into the lobby to see the gingerbread house?

California Grill is a nice place, good food, nice view and a roof deck to go out on that your daughter would like high above disney. No matter where you go Christmas is so magical in DW.

If it were me, on Christmas Eve at Disney World I would do a non-traditional dinner at an Epcot restaurant then view the Candlelight Processional. You're already spending Christmas at Disney - that's pretty non-traditional for a lot of people. Might as well go all the way.

Just make your ADRs as soon as the package is available for booking. I kept trying over and over to get Christmas Eve CP package in '08 and nothing ever opened up.

CA Grill with fireworks during dinner. We did that in '04. Our 4 year old niece did great. Our waiter was great in working around the fireworks (I think our dinner was due out and he let us go out and watch and our food came to the table as we returned--and it was hot). That's their deal. They are about service.

Then I think we went to the GF to do the Gingerbread House thing too. We stayed at Shades of Green that time, so everything was on the monorail. It was very nice.
