Christmas Eve/Christmas Day Question

Hi. We will be at Universal from 12/21 through 12/27. We plan to go to the parks on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Does anyone know of anything else fun to do in the area for these two days? Any good buffets to eat at that do something special for Christmas? Any help would be greatly appreciated. We have never been to Universal, so we are very excited. It will be my husband, son (9), and myself.

We will be at PB this year Dec23-28th. In the past we have eaten the Christmas day buffet at Trattoria and loved it - we plan to do it again this year. Check the official Universal site- it lists activites for all the resorts.

We will be at the Hard Rock from the Dec. 21-26 with our 9 yr old son! lol I would love to hear any ideas too

Would love any information on dining, too.
We are arriving on Christmas and are planning on spending Christmas and the next day in the parks before heading over to Disney as my DD will be singing there with her choir. We would love to know where we are best to eat a nice meal as will will be on the road for Thanksgiving this year too for my sons hockey team. I am really going to be missing holiday meals and would love to know where to get a good one without taking too much touring time out.

I called and made a reservation for Christmas eve morning. I asked for some kind of confirmation number, and the rep told me that I am confirmed, but there is nothing to give me. Did anyone else get this same response? I find that strange. I am used to Disneyworld! Thanks!

Dining reservations at Universal are no where near as bad as Disney. I would double check a few days before to make sure everything was still good.
