My family is planning a trip over Christmas and plan to be at the Animal Kingdom Christmas Eve. Does this park typically reach capacity on this day? We are staying off site due to travelling with 9 people, and are trying to ensure entry to parks by making dining reservations at each park for the day we will be visiting. Is this a good plan to follow? Right now our plan is to do MVMCP on the 22 and that would be our Magic Kingdom day. Followed by HS Monday with a dining reservation, droid reservation, and Oga's reservation. Tuesday is Animal Kingdom (Christmas Eve) and Wednesday is Epcot (Christmas Day). Figured that would be the least crowded park that day. Any suggestions are very helpful!

The park won't reach capacity.

Traffic will be very heavy, though, so plan on transportation taking longer than usual

ADR's do not guarantee admission into a closed to capacity park. Even folk staying on property are only guaranteed admission to a park not the park of choice if the park of choice is closed to capacity.

Although true, the only Phase 4 Closure in the past 10 years has been Magic Kingdom on April 7, 2009. The odds are greatly in your favor of getting into any of the parks on any day of the year if you are staying on property with an ADR.

Guests with ADRs are allowed in during Phase 1-3 closures. They need not be staying on property as long as they have a reservation. My apologies for not making that clear.
