My adult family (4 grown young adults) and my wife and I will be celebrating Christmas at Disney World. What resturants can you recommend for Christmas eve and Christmas night dinner? We are looking for traditional Christmas theme and cuisine.

A lot of people go to the Biergarten on Christmas eve....it is traditional food, but German :) The atmosphere is very good and so is the show. Only traditional food I know for Christmas day would be Liberty Tree Tavern. it has a set meal of Turkey, beef, Pork, Mashed, Stuffing, etc.

Both of these might be very hard to book now as it is a very popular time, but give it a try. :)

You may just want to see what is available. Many of the top restaurants have been booked since late June. (I believe I was up at 5 am on June 27th!)

We'll be at Cape May for Xmas eve and 'Ohana for Christmas dinner.

Best of luck!

Kerri

LOL - this is exactly what we're doing this year!

OP, you might also check 1900Park Fare - I believe they do a traditional holiday menu. Some of the signature restaurants do as well.

I too am going and booked my ADRs in June, but have recently tweaked them a bit. We'll be doing Biergarten lunch with Candlelight Processional package for Xmas Eve and Rose and Crown lunch on Xmas day...wanted Le Cellier, but couldn't get it...and also thought about doing Yachtsman, but didn't want to rack up a huge bill. We're using the TIW card and it's not good on Xmas Eve or Xmas day. I recommend going on disneyworld dot com and clicking on the 'where to eat' tab and then the 'make dining reservations' tab and put in your preferred dining experience and put in the date and time and # of people and it will show you what's available.

Also,if you do a search this site- I think somewhere on here, it will tell you what places have a special Christmas menu on those 2 days.

We're going to the Candelight Procession Christmas Eve, then 1900 Park Fare for brunch, and Whispering Canyon Cafe for Christmas Dinner. We just booked not too long ago, and I am still working on some of the ADR's but don't be too worried by people who say they booked way out, I've had luck with almost everything I wanted by checking often. I thought I would never get the CP, and got the 8:15 p.m. show, with the restaurant we wanted. Also got Crystal Palace for 8:00 a.m. on the morning of the 23rd, which I really wanted, and Cali Grill for wishes, so I felt pretty happy overall with my 'late' bookings. Good luck!!

Yeah...it's pretty much Ohana and Le Cellier that I found to be booked up,even in June. I also read some posts where people were trying to get Crystal Palace and couldn't. I had originally booked Whisp Canyon for lunch on Xmas Eve, but recently switched to the Biergarten Candlelight Processional package (and cancelled Biergarten for 12/21). Then, I tried to get Whisp Canyon for the 21st and it was all booked up(also tried Cape May, Crystal Palace, Sci-Fi with no luck either)...but I am also booking for 15 people. I ended up booking the Hoop-Dee-Doo...:thumbsup2

DH and I are meeting my parents, so we're also a party of 4 adults. On the 24th, we'll actually have a late lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern and then go to the Wishes Dessert Party for "dinner" that evening! :cool1: We're having Christmas dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse.

Please post where you decide to eat! I love reading about everyone's Christmas dining plans! :goodvibes

We'll be having Christmas dinner at 'Ohana, too. :goodvibes Christmas Eve dinner is at Narcoosees.

Yep booked my dining in June. Christmas Eve is breakfast and dinner at Boma.
Christmas is breakfast at Crystal Palace and dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern. Doing Candlelight Processional the day after at Teppan Edo. Arriving on the 22nd. Leaving on the 29th. Then Dream Cruise to 1/3.

At this point ,I would see what if anything is available.Christmas bookings have been open since June. I also caution on Christmas day meals in the MK..If the MK closes a phase 4 capacity closing ( and it does on Christmas day, usually a few times), you will NOT be allowed in for dining ressies, even if you prepaid them

I agree with calling to see what is still available and keep in mind that at least the Magic Kingdom will probably close the gates by mid-day. We usually go to Epcot for the day and made our dinner package reservations a week or so ago. The options were dwindling. We had to go with a 3:30 dinner at Rose & Crown. We'll have breakfast at home and the rest of the day we'll just snack.

I would recommend any of the restaurants in Epcot's world showcase. If you stick with one of the Western European countries you will have a good time. All the countries are decorated for the holidays and a lot have santas and storytellers for yur entertainment. We are going this year to Akershus. But we loved Biergarten last year. Book fast.
Have Fun!:yay:

I have Hoop Dee Doo Review and then Wishes Desert Party on Dec. 24th. Raglan Road for Christmas/DD birthday.

the first year we did disney at xmas we went to Ohana's
this year we booked in june and doing the non traditional again hollywood and vine late lunch

We'll be doing Citricos on Christmas Eve, and then a Fantasmic package with Mama Melrose for lunch on Christmas day to avoid MK crowds. For dinner we're headed straight to DHS to Whispering Canyon Cafe! I'm so excited :)

We are staying at WL so we are eating at WCC for Christamas Dinner. I just booked Kona for Chrismas Eve dinner. My question is I booked at 8pm. can we stay and watch the fireworks on the beach ( we have only done this while staying there so I do not know the answer)? TIA
