Christmas Decs???

Hi everyone,

Haven't posted for a long time but am hoping to book a midweek November trip to see the Christmas decorations (feel guilty thinking about Christmassy things in August but the weather is NOT helping ) before it gets crazy-busy.

Does anyone know when the park stops being Halloween-themed and the Christmas decs go up?

I have a feeling it's normally around the third week of Nov but wondered if anyone knew the 2011 dates yet?

My boyfriend starts a new job at the beginning of Sept so I'm having to be restrained with my booking until he starts and can get some holiday approved but I'm champing at the bit to get it all sorted!! Also hoping this will be our first time stay at the SL - we normally go for Cheyenne but feel like treating ourselves!

Usually straight after bonfire season which ends 7th November so Christmas season will start then

I was there November last year .. was very Christmassy

and the Christmas shop in the castle of course is open all year round .. popped in there in June to get a christmas fix - was hard to resist buying anything

christmas press event is on the 5th november, so i assume all the decs will be up, official start date is 7th.

Thanks everyone - that's all really helpful advice! I thought the Christmas decs went up later in Nov than that so it's good news all round - I can go sooner than I thought
