Christmas decorations

Will they decorate all the resorts for Christmas and which ones do we not want to miss? This will be our first Chirstmas at Disney World and we want don't want to miss anything!

Definately want to do the Grand Floridian and Wilderness Lodge. Epcot side do Yacht Club, Beach Club and Boardwalk. For a Christmas decorations New Orleans style try the French Quarter.

All of the resorts are decorated, usually by Thanksgiving. Going by the resorts to check them out is a lot of fun for us. Enjoy.

Also, don't forget the tree lighting ceremonies at Epcot and the Magic Kingdom (have never been able to make them at MGM, AK (if they have one), and Downtown Disney, so can't comment there).

Definitely you willl want to see YC / BC & BWI. They are beautiful. We have visited on Thanksgiving for the last 8 years or so & they have never failed to not be in place (at these resorts anyway).

Don't miss Christmas Around the World at Epcot. It is really neat with each country having there version of Santa telling how Christmas is celebrated in their country. England, Canada & Germany are especially good.

DTD really goes all out as well. We enjoyed wandering around there last year. We will miss Osbourne Festival of Lights. Maybe they will come up with some alternative - I really liked getting "snowed on".

While you're at the YC/BC go ahead and stoll over to the Dolphin, they have a huge Christmas Tree with a large train going around it-very festive.

This is a very magical time of year to visit the world-there are lights and decorations everywhere. Try to schedule some meals at the various resorts so you can check out the decorations after you eat
