Christmas decorations

We are planning a big family trip for holiday season in about 2 or 3 years. Our question is when do the Christmas decorations go up around the world. I would hate for some of us to be there too early to enjoy them. Some of us are looking at coming for Thanksgiving week. Thank you!

they start decorating on nov 1 after halloween.

most of the park decorations should be up by the week before thanksgiving.

virtually all of the resort decorations will be up by thanksgiving.

the last thing is usually to move the christmas tree in the magic kingdom after they film the christmas day parade.

there are also festivities like the candlelight processionals and epcot storytellers that start after thanksgiving.
