Christmas decorations at WDW

When is the park decorated for Christmas. We were looking to go in early November with our family and did not know if it would be decorated by then.

I'm wondering this myself. I'll be there Nov 8 - Nov 16. I know that the first Christmas party in the MK is in early to mid-November, so I assume that at least the parks will be decorated by that point. I'm hoping the resorts will be too!

I was there this past year and the day after Halloween they started to decorate. It was so exciting since I have never been able to go there for Christmas. Each day more was done. I would say the trees were up earliest at each park, we even got to see a prieview of the Osborne light show the day before we left. I was sooooo excited to see that I think it was around Nov 8. It was the Tues before Veterans Day.

Is there anything that is taken down immediately, like the day after Christmas? We'll be arriving mid-afternoon on the 26th, so I'm hoping everything stays up for a few days. I know most things do, but is there anything that gets taken down so quickly that we should see it on that first day? This will be my first Dec. trip, so I'm really looking forward to seeing things in a whole new light.

I was at MK on Sept 29 it all decorated for fall, then on Nov 3 when back to MK and Christmas was up!
