Does Universal put up great decorations for Christmas? If so, when do they go up? Looking at a mid November trip.

Yes. Looks like the festivities start Nov 14 this year. Not sure what changes will be made for Covid. The parks and resorts are decorated.

Saw the Grinchmas show last November, very fun. You can meet a talking version of the Grinch in Seuss Landing, he is a hoot. Christmas parade every night at the Studios. Holiday lights on Hogwarts castle.
