I know we just got passed Christmas, but ... Are the Christmas events/displays all up by Thanksgiving? Looking at either Thanksgiving week or Christmas Week. We are looking at having a relaxing week, a few days in the parks, but just want to enjoy all the Christmas decorations at the resorts and Disney Springs. Also daughter loves to swim so I was thinking that Thanksgiving would be warmer the Christmas.
I know if we want either of those weeks I need to book soon

Yes, everything in parks and resorts is up and running by Thanksgiving day. There may still be a few things not done early in the week, but I'm not sure you would know anything is missing.

As for swimming, the pools are heated once it gets cold, but they can't do anything about the outside air. You definitely have a better chance at decent weather in Nov, but make sure you temper her expectations just in case.

We've been in Feb before, and we're from the northeast, so as long as it's above 60, she'll be happy lol

I was just there this past Thanksgiving. It is FULL Christmas, even a MVMCP the Sunday night before Thanksgiving. It got COLD several nights (hoodies and blue jean cold) but daytime was warm, but not hot. Several times we came back to hotel at all star sports and people would be in pool. Had movie at pool one night Which its fine when you are in the water its the getting out that would be cold. Crowds were a CL 10 but as long as you plan well with fast passes and meals it was not bad. Never had long lines at bathrooms (maybe 5 minutes) for meals that we did not have reservations we ate quick service and used the mobile order.

MK, AK and HS will all be decorated and Christmas events going on. The only thing to keep in mind is that holiday events at epcot may not start until the day after Thanksgiving (like it just did for 2019). In that case, most decorations at epcot should be up, but may not have all up at the start of Thanksgiving week.

Christmas decorations go up right after Labor Day. Halloween decorations go up after 4th of July.

Kidding, but just a little....
